BBBS Bowl for Kid's Sake 2009

BBBS held their 2009 kick off to their Bowl For Kids Sake Fundraiser at Merrimack Ten Pins Bowling Alley! The Bigs and the Little's came together for a fun filled afternoon of bowling, pizza, laughs and fantastic raffle prizes. The children, adults and staff were all decked out in their new BBBS Nashua Pink and Blue shirts! The picture place people were there taking pictures to make a scrapbook for the BBBS of the event. There were also some goodies donated by Frito Lay! The children and adults had a great time and left with bags filled with toys for them and their siblings. As always I thank the BBBS for inviting me to these great events! The organization always does a geat job and truly cares about these children and their matches!

Kidgits Book Blast

On March 7th I traveled to the Pheasant Lane Mall in Nashua NH to be a guest reader for children at the Kidgits Book Blast. Mrs. Massachusetts 2008 Erica Baker joined me in handing out pamphlets for the Nashua BBBS organization and information for the upcoming NH United States Pageant! There were a lot of organizations there to read on a busy day within the mall. It was fun to read to the kids "Babar-A Gift For Mother" and to meet all the great people involved with the Kidgits Book Blast! The family friendly event is designed to show children just what fun reading can be! The children and their parents brought a new or used books to donate to various charities. The children enjoyed hearing the stories, making crafts and winning great prizes! It was a great event for the children and their families :)
